Grammy Award-winning musician Sir Elton John is auctioning off hundreds of personal items through British auction house Christie's.
The collection is titled Goodbye Peachtree Road and is reportedly the "Rocket Man" singer's first auction in over 21 years. It boasts around 900 items, including artwork the musician has owned, jewelry, outfits, expensive watches, a pair of prescription sunglasses John wore circa 1975, platform boots, a neon "HORNY?!" sign by David LaChapelle and even his conservatory piano estimated to be worth between $30,000 and $50,000. In 2023, John and his husband David Furnish sold their Atlanta home for over $7.2 million, hence the consolidation of their artwork and memento collection.
