Finnish foundation equipment provider Junttan has expanded its offering for pile driving and drilling applications to include vibratory hammers.
Junttan, a manufacturer of hydraulic pile driving technology, has launched the first products in its free-hanging vibratory hammer series – the VH and VH VM models. Hydraulic Breaker Bits
The normal frequency vibratory hammers, or the VH model, are designed for projects that demand exceptional force for driving or extracting. The hammers are suited for moderate to difficult piling conditions and come with different clamping solutions for easier handling.
The variable moment vibratory hammers, the VH VM model, are designed to offer maximum performance with minimum ground vibration. They are suitable for urban job sites or other areas sensitive to vibration. The hammers can adapt to different soil conditions, including sandy soils.
Junttan said that the new offering will strengthen its position as a complete solutions provider for driving and extracting tubular and H-steel piles, as well as sheet pile driving applications.
The vibratory hammers are powered with Junttan PP-series hydraulic vibro hammer power packs. According to the manufacturer, the intelligent control system ensures the system reaches its peak performance before the operation, maximising efficiency and minimising downtime.
Junttan engineering and product management director Tomi Voutilainen said: “Going to the vibratory business is a natural extension for us, and we have our share of history in this type of equipment from early Junttan days.
“We are now opening the game with a carefully selected free-hanging vibratory offering, but this is just the start. The same good old Junttan values are present also in these new products; they are robust, reliable, and perform like we promise so our customers can concentrate on what matters the most; building sustainable and stable foundations for the future.”
